Board of Directors

The Kakuzi Board consists of the Chairman, who has non-executive responsibilities, four other non-executive directors and two executive directors.

The Board meets quarterly and is responsible for establishing the corporate governance pillars, setting the strategic direction, reviewing business performance and supervision of the management of Kakuzi operations.

The directors have the knowledge, experience, autonomy and skills enabling them to carry out their Board responsibilities.

Executive Profile

Christopher Flowers - Managing Director

Was appointed Managing Director for both Kakuzi Ltd in 2013.

A qualified engineer and agriculturalist he has over 20 years’ experience working with tea and forestry crops and has worked for the group for over 5 years.

Ketan Shah - Finance Director

Ketan is a qualified Accountant and a member of both the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He joined the Camellia Group in 1993.

Richard Collins - Chief Executive, Operations

Joined Kakuzi in July 1994 in the Horticultural division and was instrumental in the establishment of current Horticultural operations.

He currently oversees the management on Kakuzi’s diverse operations including Avocado, Macadamia, Pineapple, Forestry and Livestock.

Harry Bowman - General Manager

With degrees in Agriculture and Engineering, he joined Kakuzi in 2010. He is now General Manager for the Macadamia Operations.

Eric Bii - General Manager Finance & Administration

Eric is a qualified accountant and a member of the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. He joined the Camellia Group in January 2015.

Simon Odhiambo - General Manager Corporate Affairs

Was appointed General Manager Corporate Affairs in January 2017. A qualified Public Health professional with over 15 years’ systems management design and execution experience. He has been with the group for over 13 years.

Paul Mbugua - General Manager Horticulture
